Position 1: Handset testing
Should be less than 2 years experience,
Degree – BE (Does not matter, if below experience matches).
·Experience - In CDMA handset testing, Should have understanding of using different handset programming tools,
·QPST and QXDM are essential.
·Activating handsets and making voice, data calls.
·Flashing/Performing handset testing on BREW by flashing different software builds on the handsets.
·Understanding of Basics of CDMA
·Understanding of BREW and Downloading applications from ADS/BDS.
·Should be fluent in communication.
Position 2: Notebook Integration testing on Linux
Skills/Experience:
1)Basic Kernel Internals.
2)Linux Utilities.
3)Debugging skills in perspective of Linux Drivers and Applications.
4)And some overview of Linux Distributions.
5)Some basic knowledge on C programming and Scripting languages.
Job Description:
Consultant will be working on next generation of 3G data module. This position requires testing the data module, embedded inside the notebook. Candidates with previous handset/data card test experience with UMTS or CDMA operators are preferred for this position.
The consultant should be able to perform tests in embedded environments and should be able to evaluate SW stability and interaction with USB drivers, when notebooks are cycled through different states (S0 -S5). This position requires, good working knowledge of UMTS and CDMA protocols. Must be able to develop test procedures, execute tests and isolate issues accurately in different test environments. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience testing different Linux operating systems in embedded environment.
Responsibilities also include testing USB installers, API and should be able to successfully translate PC OEM and Carrier certification requirements in day to day testing. Some sort of PC interface testing between the module and connection manager residing on the laptop is also required. Candidate should be able to ensure the seamless module performance both between PC software and module software. Candidate should be capable to duplicate the scenarios found by external parties and able to debug issues in right timeframe.
Flexibility in work assignments and thoroughness in project are crucial.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering required

Skills/Experience:
Consultants should have at least 3 ~5 years of previous test experience especially with carriers or OEM's. Must have good scripting skills, understanding of different test tools such as QXDM, QPST etc and exposure to bug tracking tools.
Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills and should be able to work in cross functional teams and coordinate testing across different levels for issue resolution.

Position 4:Modem Requirements – 2G Conformance Testing
Job Description:
System Test Engineer will be responsible for Test Plan Development, Test case Development, Lab Execution, Issues Debugging of GCF/PTCRB test cases in the area of GSM/GPRS/EDGE protocol and signaling conformance validation on the data card modules and Embedded Laptop Modules. He/She will be also responsible for coordination with the System Engineers, System Developers and different test houses for the quickest problem resolution and customer delivery
Successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be an effective team player, be self driver of customer issues and be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Skills/Experience:
-Strong Background in Call Processing and Message Flow of standards for GSM/ GPRS /EDGE
- Sound understanding of different layers like NAS/RRC/RLC/MAC and their roles in signaling compliance as well as interaction with L1
-Experience in systems testing / development of UMTS Protocol implementation on wireless platforms
- Strong understanding of 51.010, 4.60, 5.08 required
- Strong debugging capabilities both in Network Side and UE side.
- Experience with TTCN/C/C++, Perl, shell scripting
- Exposure to UMTS test simulators and test systems like Anite, Comprion, R&S, Racal and Anritsu is a plus
Additional Skills:
Two to Five years of industry experience. Handset test experience with CDMA / UMTS operators or with commercial handset OEMs is a big plus
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering required
- Master's degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering preferred
